Sector 7 troops have arrested a suspected kidnapper believed to be linked to the kidnapping of four persons in Ancha village, Sanga Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
Security sources said the suspect was arrested at around 10.30am on April 4 in Zuturuntinta village, Zangon Kataf local government area, following credible intelligence that led troops directly to his location.
The arrest is part of sustained military efforts to dismantle kidnapping networks operating along the volatile Kaduna-Plateau border corridor, an area that has seen a spate of kidnappings targeting local communities.

The suspect is currently in custody and undergoing interrogation. Troops are working to establish the whereabouts of the four kidnapped victims, with follow-up operations intensified across the area to track down other members of the criminal network.
Military authorities said the search for the remaining suspects and the rescue of victims remained active priorities.
