Arokodare confessed that his first matches in England were a struggle.

“The two leagues are comparable: physically demanding, intense and fast. But in the Premier League we have to redouble our efforts,” he said. The Nieuwslbad.

“It wasn’t easy, I admit. My first few matches were a struggle, I struggled. It was even harder than I expected. I’ve progressed since then, but I’m still not where I want to be.”

Ready to learn

Arokodare has scored two goals in the Premier League as Wolves are also battling relegation.

“I knew I wouldn’t come here on vacation, that I would have to fight. So not much has changed in that sense. I was fighting with Genk, and now I’m fighting with Wolves. Then for the title, now to stay in the league,” he said.

“I want to learn from this and become stronger. But it goes without saying that it is difficult to be the top scorer from last season and now it is not even close to double figures.”
