Arrest 2 years to work with terrorists in the north -est

The defense headquarters said that two members of the hybrid forces were arrested for collaborating with terrorists in the north -est.

The director of media operations, Magg. Gen. Markus Kangye, revealed it on a weekend of declaration.

He clarified that they were part of the hybrid forces who collaborated with the troops to face the insurrection in the area.

He observed that the arrests occurred during the operations conducted from 26 to 29 April in Bama, Kukawa and areas of the local government of Madagali.

In addition, he said that this military personnel was among the four people who provided logistics to terrorists who were also held by the troops.

Kangye characterized the actions of the staff arrested as a “betrayal” and urged the commanders to educate their forces on the importance of avoiding actions that could undermine the current military operations.

“In a well -coordinated operation conducted from 26 to 29 April 2025 in Bama, Kukawa and Madagali Lga of Borno and Adamawa, the troops intercepted four terrorist logistics suppliers.

“Unfortunately, two of them have been confirmed as members of the hybrid forces,” said the spokesman for the defense headquarters.

He added: “Commanders must therefore sensitize the staff of the hybrid forces to desist from hilling or encouraging terrorist acts capable of sabotage our operations”.
