Arsenal and Liverpool both claimed wins in their opening Premier League games of the season on Saturday.
The Gunners beat Wolverhampton Wanderers 2-0 at the Emirates Stadium while Liverpool beat newly promoted Ipswich 2-0.
Kai Havertz scored the Gunners’ first-half opener with a header from Bukayo Saka’s cross from the right, and the England forward added their second after the break.

For the Reds, Diogo Jota and Mohamed Salah were on target as Arne Slot’s reign as Liverpool head coach got off to a winning start.
Salah was the star of the show, providing the assist for the opener before doubling the visitors’ lead five minutes later.
In other Premier League matches played simultaneously, Everton lost 3-0 to Brighton, Newcastle beat Southampton 1-0 while Nottingham Forest and Bournemouth drew 1-1.
