Aruna Quadri has slipped from the 15th to the 16th position in the most recent International Table Tennis Federation world rankings for October.
The 34-year-old however maintains his status as the highest-ranked player in Africa, amassing 1,175 points in the reviewed month.
In Africa, Egypt’s Omar Assar remains in second place, holding the 20th spot globally.
Another Egyptian Ahmed Saleh is ranked third in Africa and 55th globally, while Mohammed El-Beilal moved up one spot to 65th, securing the fourth position.
Algeria’s Mehdi Bouloussa also climbed one spot to 93, landing in fifth place. Ibrahima Diaw sits at 98th with 208 points, and Taiwo Mati holds the 99th spot in the latest rankings with 207 points.
At the top of the rankings, China’s Fan Zhendong reigns supreme with a total of 6,410 points.
His fellow countrymen, Chuqin Wang and Ma Long, claim the second and third positions, with 4,795 and 3,865 points, respectively.
