As I served, retired without imperfections by the Nigerian police forces – Ari

A retired police inspector general, Dig Ari Mohammed Ari, refuted the accusations of having been discharged from force for the accusations of falsification and violation of the rules of the service.

Ari said that the statement is not only false and misleading, but a deliberated attempt to dirty the good name and the penalty the incredible records that he built during his career as an illustrious police officer.

This was contained in a declaration issued to Blueprint during the weekend by her media help, Ibrahim Anas Alemani.

Part of the declaration said: “The attention of Dig Ari Mohammed Ali (RTD) was attracted to a false and misleading publication accredited to Sahara journalists stating that the respected senior police officer was discharged by force on the accusations of falsification of the age and the violation of the service rules.

“This statement is not only false and misleading, but a deliberate attempt to dirty the good name and the penalty the incredible registers of Dig Ari Mohammed Ali (RTD) has built during his career as an illustrious police officer.

“The retired excavation has served in various capabilities of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) in an excellent way and would not like to be attracted to such a harmful and mischievous publication.

“However, to avoid any doubt and for the public and his supporters not to be missed, it is important to make the record clear that Dig Ari Mohammed Ari (RTD) was enrolled in the police forces of Nigeria on March 3, 1990 as a member of the course of 16 ASP cadets.

“He formed in the Elite Police Academy in the State of Kaduna and served in various capabilities in the police forces, during which he won numerous prizes due to his dedication and style of leadership.”

He observed that Dig Ari served in Delta, Bayelsa, Lagos, Rivers, Kano State Commands, as well as in the Jos police college.

The spokesman also declared that Dig Ari was a deputy commissioner for police operations in the state of Lagos for three years, during which he won the Excellence of the Safety of Africa for best responsible for operations in African security in the year 2018.

He said that Dig Ari served in the Delta State Command as 20th police commissioner from 2021 to 2023, during which Delta State became one of the safest states in Nigeria.

He added that the retirement excavation was promoted to the degree of assistant police inspector in 2023 and sent to Zone 2, Lagos State as Aig Zone 2 and subsequently deployed to force the headquarters as the police of the AIG community in January 2024, where he diligently served until his assignment in Kano State as Aig Zone 1 Kano.

He added that Ari, was promoted to the degree of excavation on November 24, 2024 and published as an excavation of the Operational Department, headquarters of the police forces, Abuja.
