[Press Release] The vice-president of the Senate in the ninth assembly, the senator Ovie Omo-Agege, described President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a nationalist who chose bold moves that would have brought back the economy from the edge of the collapse rather than by the transactional leadership that earns only in the short term and a limited development.
In a message of goodwill to mark the president’s 73rd birthday, Omo-agge said that Tinubu opted for the bold options that will allow the economy to bounce stronger and better.
“Rather than choosing to keep a system that would have earned him an immediate applause while accelerating the decline of the national economy, President Tinubu made the bold decisions to stop the drift and trace a new course for lasting growth.
“It is an admirable and stimulating decision that reported Nigeria to the trajectory of sustainable development,” said the homo-aging senator.
“The difficult decisions had to be made and the president did not exploit this responsibility. Being difficult decisions, some have come with apparent challenges, but we must remain the path. We are lucky to have a man who is guided by the sight and has already concentrated. It has already become clear that the difficult decisions were absolutely imperative because the economy has been pulled back by Brink”, the obarisi of Urhoboland.
Omo-Agege invited the Nigerians to continue supporting the Tinubu transformation programs, saying: “What the country needs is that all the interested parties avoid all the political considerations and join the President Tinubu in restoring prosperity in the country.
“While the president marks his 73rd birthday, I assure the Nigerians that the country is in safe and competent hands. On behalf of my family and the All Progressive Congress family (APC) in the state of the Delta, celebrated the president Tinubu for his birthday and I wish him many service fruits in Nigeria,” said Omo-aging.
