Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has put aside a movement away from the people’s Democratic Party (PDP).

The statement reads: “Former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has no grudges; he has said that, and he means.
“As a Democrats, he subscribed to universality and constitutionality of freedom of association, which is one of the pillars of democracy, without which democracy has no meaning.
“We have discussed the issue of the coalition, and remember that we have a statement about that effect; Alhaji Atiku Abubakar did not leave PDP, and he had said clearly.
“As for those who talked about him to leave PDP, we don’t know where they got it.”
