Average, advertising committee takes off before Swan @60 Anniversary

The Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (Swan) has established the
Media committee and advertising for its celebration of the 60th anniversary scheduled between 29 and 31 October in Abuja.

The Diamond Jubilee media team of seven men is chaired by Chimeizie Anaso, president of Swan in Anambra, while Emmanuel Akpan, president of the chapter Awka Ibom, will act as vice president of the committee.

Other members of the Committee are Hembadoon Rosario, president of Benue’s chapter as secretary; Ahmed Amshi, vice -president north -est, member; Jacob Onjewu, secretary Kaduna State Chapter, member and two graphic/graphic information experts.

The appointment letter signed by Isaiah Benjamin and Ikenna Okonkwo, said the President and Secretary General of Swan respectively, the Committee entered into force from 6 October and will continue after the anniversary as a permanent committee.

“We write to formally communicate your appointment as president and members of the media/advertising, Swan Diamond Jubilee/60th Anniversary and beyond.

“Your appointment is due to the Track record of dedication and guide for positive results and results you have been identified with,” he said.

The National Secretariat said that the Committee was supposed to interact with relevant multimedia platforms, printing, online and electronic in the use of various content concerning Swan@60 anniversary.

The reference terms include that the Committee should evolve creative and practical ways that will guarantee a generation of solid and constant content in view of the next 60th anniversary Swan.

“From time to time the Committee will also contribute to making the official Swan website with relevant information.

“Committee members should support the highest standards of integrity, confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions,” he said.
