Avoiding another crisis – Blueprint Newspapers Limited

Dear President of the Senate Godswill Akpabio, because this borders on the economic development of our dear country, I am guided by a sense of patriotism to contact you through this means.

Immediately, your excellence, you are certainly not as bad as you are interpreted in certain neighborhoods. Your real challenge concerning the image and reputation lies exactly with the way those who “love” you more than the rest of us manage your public affairs. Except for other considerations, these people simply love you to the extent of what your influence and position can recover them, both politically and economically. They care less than what the posters will say about you in the final analysis.

In the depths of your heart, you know that your current problem with Senator Natasha Akpoti-Auduaghan intensified this scandalous greatness thanks to the insensitivity and parish interests of those who believe that it has more than the other Nigerians. They include some of your colleagues, members and assistants whose motivations are political relevance, economic gain and regional feelings.

Once again, they care less than what the rest of the Nigerians feels for you.

Although this concern was treated in a piece entitled, Natasha: How Not to Love Akpabio, another case that will soon rub negatively on you is a recent event that has been packaged by your office to deepen the general agenda of economic revitalization of the federal government.

The theme was to exploit the emerging opportunities in creative, digital, green and blue economies for national development: search for collaborative strategies.

It was held on November 6, 2024 at the National Assembly Library and Resource Center.

The event derived from the legislative agenda of the tenth Senate, which aims to “face the challenges of the country and exploit its opportunities” through interventions on “opportunities for creating work and wealth, increase in profit and foreign investments, sustainable rural development and greater capacity for safety agencies”.

Also remember that the Senate had made it alliance “We will work with a wide range of stakeholders … to collect insights and recommendations on the improvement of economic growth and the creation of jobs”, further underlining this “This commitment will help formulate more inclusive and effective laws and policies”.

The goal of the symposium, which had your consent, was “to generate ideas for legislative actions and solid political towards good government”. As a main guest, you were represented by your head of the staff.

In the same way, the secretary of the government of the Federation, as the main speaker and the five ministries who were fundamental for the fundamental objectives of the event were duly represented.

There were four presentations of eminent scholars in this order:

1. The creative economy and neglected opportunities: the cultural industry are highlighted Kizito Alakwe, Ph.D., Fnimn, Arpa

2 Abba Y. Abdullah, Ph.D., FFS, Fnae, CMC

3 Halima Ahmed Usman, PhD.

4. The digital economy, the safety of citizens and the accelerated development of indigenous technological societies: the immediate, functional and reliable solutions of Ojo Emmanuel Ademola, Phd, Cmgr, FCMI, FBCS, Fiol, Faset, Frsa

So, of course, there were large -scale recommendations that required legislative actions for the formulation of policies.

But among some of the provisional results, the event “added an impulse to the sustained defense for a renewed public-private collaboration to exploit the emerging opportunities in creative, digital, green and blue economies as required by electricity, but was not accompanied by electricity, but was not accompanied by electricity, but was not accompanied by the accentuated for the lighting.

Moved by intrinsic opportunities, in particular on renewable energy resources, otherwise known as green economy, he did not wait for the inauguration of the tenth national assembly before asking for abandoned legislation and giving him the strength of the law. As such, the symposium has explored some of these opportunities, in particular those that can be lined up in the guidance of rural development, cottage industries and free trade areas, in line with the proven passion of President Tinubu for a virile economy defined by different alternatives for the generation of energy. Once again, and typing global awareness and consciousness in these sectors, the president has created ministries in all respects for the blue economy and the creative economy. In addition, he has expanded the areas and abilities of the ex ministries for optimal performances, resulting in a unified ministry of art, culture, tourism and creative economy, as well as for communications, innovation and digital economy. In other words, the symposium was an attempt to build the consent to advance these intentional interventions.

In addition, your excellence, the Symposium examined the three invoices standing in your name “which have the ability to reposition creative and blue economies towards economic revitalization and rapid regional development”.

In no particular order, they are:

(1) A bill for an act to establish the development agency of cultural industries for the production of mass and the marketing of cultural products made by local raw materials that are peculiar of the geo-political areas for the integrated regional and national economic development which tries to increase the country’s regional economic development towards an accelerated growth of GDP. In addition, it provides the performance framework for the Ministry of Art, Culture, Tourism and the Creative Economy now modified.

(2) A bill for an act to establish the fiduciary fund for the development of cultural and creative industries to provide a sustainable source of funds for the development of skills, infrastructures and research towards a cohesive and structured sector which “also derives its relevance from the second and third voices in the legislative agenda of the Senate”. In general, “seeks the creation of a dedicated fund for the supply of industrial clusters in each of the geo-political areas for the development of talents and skills, staff training, libraries and centers of resources for research, internship and tutoring, as well as the pavilions for the promotion and exhibition of cultural and creative products, skills and opportunities”. It is noteworthy that some of the provisions of this bill are already implemented by the executive as there is now approval for the establishment of the development fund of the creative industries.

(3) A bill to repeal the Sea Fisheres Act (n. 78 of 1992) and the Inland Fisheries Act (n. 108 of 1992) and to preserve the conservation, management and development of maritime fishing, internal fishing and aquaculture and related issues Which simply “argues that Nigeria cannot benefit from the maximum of the Ministry of the Marine and Blue Economy as currently configured unless the fishing segment and severely neglected aquaculture is revived”. Said differently, “he tries to facilitate the evolution of national politics on the Navy and the blue economy and energizes the subsector towards the Revolution of the Ministry, which is the final vision of the president of Mr.”.

In the same way, “the Symposium has directed attention to the provisions of the national digital economy and national telecommunications paintings on poverty and reduction of crime and also the sustainable development of local content in information and communications technology. He specifically revised chapter 13 of the national telecommunications policy that these are national hardware/software development”.

In the meantime, the event has characterized the presentation of a publication entitled Spectives on Senator Godswill Akpabio and the tenth Senate: a year later, which “is a basis for the wider projects aimed at documenting the results of the tenth Senate and the publication of publication books of Godswill Akpabio, for the future reference”.

Yet, unfortunately, your excellence, more than six months later, a crisis of the ego orchestrated by those who “love” you more than the rest of us, in your kitchen cabinet, has prevented the provisional relationship of this event from attracting your attention to the latest legislative actions. There is evidence!

Worse still, your excellence, there are pending debts that are already generating serious harmful impacts on your general perception index. Lord, these “enemies inside” are aware, but choose to “damage” your reputation.

For example, the people of resources, understandably inspired by your name and office, have satisfied their transport, accommodation and power, including the production of their lessons with the hope of being reimbursed in debt time.

So, to further illustrate the level of patriotism and interest generated by the symposium, one of the speakers flew from New York four days before the event, while the other, who could not do it physically, made personal provisions for a virtual presentation from London. Once again, a media organization owned by a Nigerian who is based in Australia has covered the event. The association of professional chefs in Nigeria supported the event with refreshment packages in addition to the others who provided various services and materials that led cumulatively to the possible success of the program.

Therefore, your excellence, the Nigerians and posters will celebrate you if you could urgently request the relationship of this patriotic intervention that can make the country’s overall economic development advance as well as sustainable the campaigns of the Enlightenment and the management of reputation for the tenth Senate.

Therefore, important to underline, your excellence, these patriotic Nigerians who have deployed their intellectual and material resources to support this national cause deserve a special commendation on your part for a greater public perception.

Therefore, your excellence, see what you can do, because in the end, the ego of “those who” love “you more than all of us” do not count. It is your name that will be remembered.

Please, Lord, this is a passionate charm born from patriotism.
