Humor traders who made calls at the post distributed on his official Instagram page said that he was only invited by EFCC regarding incidents involving public spraying from local and foreign currencies at an event.
He said that the action was classified as a violation related to the abuse of naira and also thanked EFCC for their understanding and to give him forgiveness.
According to him, the experience is a valuable lesson, because he is now personally committed to promoting awareness about respect and appropriate care for the national currency.
“I thank God for the mercy and guidance. On Monday, I was invited by the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) regarding the incident involving public spraying of local and foreign currencies – actions that have been classified as violations related to the misuse of naira.
“I want to thank EFCC and all the authorities involved in their understanding and to give me forgiveness based on confirmation that the sprayed money is not related to the results of crime or all forms of illegal funds.

“This experience has become a valuable lesson, and I personally commit to promote awareness about respect and appropriate care for our national currency.
“For my friends, family, and the general public: We all know that spraying money on public events is a common practice in the Nigerian celebration, especially during marriage, funeral, and party. This is generally considered a cultural tradition rather than criminal acts. But let me attach several slides to this post in DOS and not.
“It is important to understand that mutilating or abusing naira – either by spraying, tearing, polluting, or wrong handling – not only cultural practices but also violations of Nigerian law. Such actions damage the integrity of our national currency and can have serious legal consequences.
“Let us all try to uphold the dignity of our currency, which is a symbol of sovereignty and economic stability of our nation. Respect for Naira is a tribute to the future of Nigeria.
“Together, we can promote responsible behavior and foster a culture of patriotism and integrity. Thank you.” Ay write on social media platforms that share pictures and videos.
