Nearly a month after more than 70 members of the main judge team were ambushed and killed by bandits in the territory of the Wase Regional Government in the State Plateau, the terrorists had attacked again, this time attacking other main judges teams in the same LGA Wase.
In the last attack, the bandits reportedly laid an ambush for the security team in the early days of Tuesday in the Dogon Ruwa Community Bashar District in the council when they trailed the gang after the previous attack efforts in the area.
In a sudden attack, two soldiers and two vigilante members themselves were reportedly killed while the bandits also carried rifles and uniforms owned by the army that were killed.
The village head of the Dogon Ruwa community, Abdullahi Yakubu, who confirmed the incident, told reporters that the team had responded to the call of trouble for the attack by the bandits and was on their path when they ran into the ambush and were caught red -handed.
Jacobu said there was a previous report that the bandits came to attack the Dogon Ruwa community, and people quickly told the security forces, which quickly mobilized and moved to where they were said to have been seen.
He stated further that while the team was on Jalan Gang Criminal, they unfortunately ran to the ambush and the bandits fired on the security team, which resulted in the deaths of two soldiers and two vigilante members themselves.
He noted that after killing security personnel, the bandits took army rifles and uniforms, adding that the attack once again triggered confusion and created tension in the area, which had faced a series of repeated attacks in the past.
