The north -western area of the All Progressives Congress (APC) rose from the meeting of the parties interested in Kaduna on Saturday, supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a presidential candidate for the general elections of 2027.

The basis for the approval of the president was placed when the vice -president of the Senate, Senator Barau I Jibrin, asked the rally who made up who is who in the northwest geopolitical area of the APC, “Aso Rock”?, The crowd replied saying “no vacant place”.
After the gathering replied, Senator Barau said: “So it is clear in 2027, we will have a landslide victory, Inshallah. So we continue in the way we are going. We continue to collaborate with each other, work with the president, to work with everyone, cooperate among ourselves so that we have the desired victory”.
He said that the defection of the stalwarts of the political parties of the opposition to the APC was the result of the performance of President Tinubu in facing the challenges that put around the country.
“This is not happening only at all. There are reasons for this. What are the reasons? The number one is the performance of our dear president. The president, of course, inherited many challenges, read our country. But has devised programs and policies to overcome these challenges.
“Safety challenges, economic challenges, named. We saw how our problem has faced, our security problem: the safety that we faced in the North West. Different areas were not accessible before. You could not go to some areas before. But now you can go to some places, you can travel from Abuja to Kaduna. This was completely impossible before it came to power.
“In the same way, before this administration, you could not go to Birnin Gwari, but life has returned to the area. People have returned to their agricultural land
“Different areas that were not accessible now are accessible. We know we are not where we want to be. We are not yet there. We are not yet there. But it is an ongoing job. Mr. President is working hard, day after day, to overcome the problem of the insycitude of this country, particularly in the north -ovest. It is an in progress job. The national president of the party, dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, he underlined that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is engaged in the development of the North West, the entire northern region and Nigeria by extension.
He said that the commitment has been demonstrated through its numerous intervention projects ranging from infrastructure, agriculture and social development throughout the northern region, underlining that, the establishment of the Commission for the development of the North West was a clear indication that the President loves the north -western region.

At the end of the meeting, the guest governor Uba Sani, however, invited the Chamber of Representatives of the President and the Vice President of the Senate to move for the vote of trust and approval of the President, who was detached by the governor Umar Idris of the State of Kebbi and followed by vocal votes that affirmed approval.
