Bauchi’s government rejected school staff for alleged sexual harassment

The State Government of Bauchi has fired a school officer, Emos Joshua, due to alleged sexual harassment.

Joshua is the Assistant of the Main Education Officer at the Government Higher Education, Azare.

Information/Public Relations Officer (IPRO), Bauchi State Civil Service Commission (CSC), Mr. Saleh Umar, revealed this in a statement on Thursday in Bauchi.

He said the commission approved the dismissal during the 32nd pleno which was held on Thursday.

Umar added that the actions of officers who were dismissed opposed to 0327 (XXVIII and XXIX) from the sexual harassment of the Public Service Rules of the State of Bauchi.

“Disciplinary actions are taken against officers after the general disciplinary procedure has run out as contained in regulations 0317 from regulations and regulations on public services,” he said.
