Bayelsa Queens Emerge Champions of NWFL for the sixth time

Bayelsa Queens has won the title of 2025 Nigeria Football Football League (NWFL) with a 4-1 victory firmly over Naija Ratels at Ikenne on Saturday.

“Girls -prosperity” topped the NWFL Super 6 standings with 10 points, secure their place as league champions and get a place in the female champions league Wafu B.

Vera star front player steals the spotlight with amazing hat-tricks, while his teammate Mega Cynthia also found a net. Naija Ratels’s sole destination comes from adeshina tumininu.

Elsewhere, Nasarawa Amazon and former champion Edo Queens played a goalless draw.

The result was seeing Chris Danjuma Nasarawa Amazon finished second with nine points, while Edo Queens chose the third place.

Remo Stars Ladies wrapped their campaign in fourth despite the 2-1 defeat of Rivers Angels.

Titilayo Aweda scored two goals for Rivers Angels, while Aisha Animashaun netted consolation for Remo stars.
