BBNaija’s Kiddwaya shares how he lost €70k to armed robbers

A former Big Brother Naija (BBN) housemate, Tesser Waya aka Kiddwaya, has recalled how armed robbers robbed him of €70,000 while he was visiting Ibiza, Abuja.

In a post on her Instagram page on Tuesday, the reality TV star said armed robbers broke into her home and made off with cash and a Birkin bag.

He added that the incident was the second in Ibiza after thieves stole his watch and cash there in 2022.

Kiddwaya wrote: “How are you guys? So something crazy happened last night. For the second time, I was robbed in Ibiza at the villa I was staying at. The last time this happened was in 2022 when they stole my watch and cash. However, it happened around 3am. They came and stole around 70,000 euros; they stole one of the girls’ Birkin bags; it was leaking.”

The former BBNaija star, who has previously expressed his intention to pursue a career in the film industry, warned other Nigerians travelling to Europe—especially those staying in villas—to be vigilant about security.

He added: “All rich Nigerians, when you travel to these places, be careful of all these villas. What they are doing is an undercover operation, from the cleaners to the taxi drivers and the police, everyone is involved.”

“Nigerians who have money and travel to Europe, if you go to a villa, be careful. Make sure you have extra security. Make sure there are guards and people walking the property day and night. Don’t take regular taxis; always use a private driver before you take a local taxi.

”Also, be careful with your maid. She’s the one who comes into the room and knows where the money is and where everything is kept. So if you’re traveling to Europe this summer, be careful.”
