The latest rites for the famous Nigerian businessman, Alhaji Aminu Dantata, who disappeared on Friday in the United Arab Emirates (United Arab Emirates), were suspended due to a delay in the transport of his remains in Saudi Arabia for burial. “

Confirming the development, the Minister of Information of Nigeria, Mohammed Idris, told the BBC that the delay derived from the challenges in satisfying the burial protocol of Saudi Arabia.

“There are regulations established by the Saudi government on how to bring an organ for burial in the country, so now the waste is completed between the Saudi government and the deceased family,” said the minister.

According to him, once the requested documentation is finalized, agreements will be taken to transport the body from the Arab Emirates united to Medina, Saudi Arabia, where the burial will take place.

Idris also explained that it is the Nigerian embassy in Saudi Arabia that the family of the late elderly statesman have completed all the funeral logistics.

Alhaji Aminu Dantata, until his death, was one of the most respected businessmen and philanthropists of Nigeria.

It has been reported that in his will the desire to be buried in the Holy City of Medina expressed a request that his family has honored from research and reception – official approval by the Saudi authorities.

In the meantime, a delegation of the Federal Government of High Power has arrived in Saudi Arabia to receive the remains of the magnate of business and the elderly statesman, Alhaji Aminu Alhassan Dantata, in view of his burial in the Holy City of Madina.

The delegation, led by the Minister of Defense, Muhammad Badaru Abubakar, left Nigeria at the end of Sunday and landed in Madina in the early hours of Monday.

Even the Islamic scholars of prominent were part of the delegation, in particular Dr. Bashir Aliyu Urar, the sheikh Aminu Ibrahim Daurawa and Khalifa Abdullahi Muhammad, which acts as an imam of the mosque of Dantata to Abuja.

They were received by the members of the Nigerian Consulate in Jeddah, led by the ambassador Muazzam Ibrahim Nayaya, who coordinated the agreements for the funeral rites to be held later on Monday in line with the Islamic traditions.
