Benjamin Hundeyin appointed a new Nigerian police spokesman

Police Inspector General, Kayode Egbetokun, has approved the appointment of Benjamin Hundeyin as a new generation public relations officer.

FPRO who came out, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, revealed this in a statement on Thursday in Abuja.

He described Hundeyin as a quality officer with solid academic and professional credentials.

Before his new appointment, Hundeyin served as a spokesman for the Lagos State Police Command.

He replaced Adejobi, who had been promoted to the rank of Deputy Police Commissioner (DCP) and was posted to the Delta State Police Command.

The statement reads: “Police Inspector General, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, NPM, Ph.D., has approved the appointment of CSP Benjamin Hundeyin as a new generation of Public Relations Officer (FPRO).

“CSP Hundeyin holds the title of BA (Hons) in English from Lagos State University and MSC in the Psychology of Criminology & Legal Security from Ibadan University.

“He also obtained a Civil-Military Coordination Certificate from the Center for the Leadership and Maintenance of Peace Martin Luther Agwai, Jaji, the State of Kaduna.

“He is an Associate from the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), members of the International Relations Association (IPRA), and partners from the Chartered Nigeria personnel (CIPM) personnel.”
