Veteran journalist and Publisher of Ovation International magazine, Dele Momodu, have warned the President of the Senate Godswill Akpabio, to be vigilant because he could become the next sacrifice in the decision of all the progressive congress (APC), after the resignation of his national chairman, Abdulullahi Ganduje.
Momodu, a Democratic Party chief (PDP), who gave a warning at the post that he shared on his Facebook page on Tuesday, described Ganduje as a hero who took the bullet for the President of the Tinubu Bola by resigning from his position.
However, he suggested Akpabio to play his card well because there was nothing very necessary in the Tinubu government.
Although Ganduje quoted health reasons for his resignation, however, believed his resignation was related to political maneuvers in preparation for the second term of office of Tinubu.
“I know today will soon arrive when words explode for the APC ruling party … Many political experts we do not have knowledge of contemporary history,” the Veterans journalist wrote.
“How could there be someone who thought the Tinubu style would ever change after capturing the state of Lagos, unmatched, for 26 years? The fate that befell the Vice President Shettima today is not new. This happened to several deputy governors in Lagos.
“Governor Ambode is the biggest victim. Governor Sanwo-Olu only fled by a mustache recently. But faster than later, things that we have never anticipated will happen.
“At Abdullahi Ganduje, he is a tragic hero who took bullets for Tinubu. But like that happened to all accomplices, its use has expired. My friend Akpabio must be careful.
“This current power is really true for Tinubu, and no one must fool himself. Nothing is very necessary, and everyone can be thrown away at any time it is needed.
“Prince does not entertain the competition. This is the Machiavelli season. More victims will fall on the battlefield. Nothing is sacred.
“Ganduje has been blamed for APC’s misery. An analyst even said he should bring El Rufai back after he was humiliated and rejected by the National Assembly. But Ganduje knew the real power that betrayed Nasiru and did not dare to interfere in this matter,” Momodu said.
