The preparations are in full swing for the activities of a week that lead to the grand finale of the 2025 Okeho Day celebration.
The celebrations will begin on Sunday 23 November 2025 and will end with the grand finale of Saturday 29 November 2025. With “Roomed in the heritage, United for Education: a great meeting for Okeho’s future” as the theme for the celebration of this year.
In a real speech, Okeho’s onjo, Oba Dr. Rafiu Osola Mustapha, Adeiian II, declared: “We are ready to welcome our children and our daughters from all over the world while we mark another historical celebration in our hometown with our city.

The celebration will begin on Sunday 23 November, with a church service, followed by the day of the Heritage Rally in the evening.
On Monday 24 November, an exercise in the renovation of the community will start from the Town Hall, underlining the commitment of the community for environmental cleaning.
Tuesday 25 November, Junior secondary school students will participate in a debate and essay competition on the theme “The Okeho of my dreams”. Later during the day, a beauty competition will be held in the afternoon and evening. The next day, Wednesday 26 November, he will present a morning visit to Okeho Ahoro, followed by a theatrical comedy entitled “The Okeho Exodus” by Olutayo Inteacolia at the Town Hall later.
The educational summit will take place on Thursday 27 November. He will bring together the main parties interested in dealing with issues related to educational development in the community.
The day will also present the Okehoholympics on the temporary Funate site, with a variety of internal and external games.
On Friday 28 November, the activities will include medical awareness in the Okeho’s Honjo building, a Jumaat service in the afternoon and a award ceremony in the evening. The celebration will culminate on Saturday 29 November, with the grand finale, with the fundraising for Funate at the elementary school of Los Angeles, Olele, Okeho.
