Napoli is reportedly on the verge of finalizing a one-year contract extension with striker Victor Osimhen.

The extension, anticipated to include a release clause ranging between €130 million and €140 million, is poised to be a major talking point in the football world.

 

Sky Sport Italia has learned that negotiations are in the advanced stages, with Osimhen and his agent, Roberto Calenda, engaging in talks with Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis.

Sources indicate that a fruitful meeting took place on Wednesday, bringing the parties closer to sealing the deal.

The current contract is set to expire in June 2025, and is likely to be prolonged for an additional season.

As part of the agreement, Osimhen is expected to receive a substantial salary increase, marking the significance of the Nigerian forward in Napoli’s plans.

The next round of discussions is anticipated later this week, potentially on Thursday, where the final details will be ironed out.
