Anointed Reverend Austin John Ukporhe of the Lagos branch of the Remnant Christian Network (RCN), releases a powerful book entitled “Boaz’s Camp,” which provides valuable godly wisdom on marriage.
The book, which is an autobiography interwoven with the biblical love story of Ruth and Boaz, offers vital lessons about relationships and marriage. The reverend’s inspiration for the book came from the challenges he witnessed in his parents’ marriage.
Reflecting on his journey, Rev. Austin says, “I taught this life series for up to six months. During that time, a pastor called me and asked, ‘Are you sure about what you’re doing? You’re too vulnerable and people might not respect you or relate to you. They might even use that against you.'”
“But being vulnerable is the best thing that has ever happened to me. After years of reflection and with God’s permission, I felt it was important for people to know that no matter who you are, you can meet God, and He can transform you,” says Rev. Ukporhe.
He adds: “I grew up in an abusive environment where, whenever there was an argument, my father would slap my mother before she could even raise her voice.”
“There were times when they would go to a party and my mother would come back crying. But in the end, both my parents changed,” she says.
He further emphasizes: “I wrote this book as a testimony to this generation and the next, proving that a man raised in a troubled and dysfunctional family can still find enlightenment and transform himself into a godly person.”
Apostle Arome Osayi, speaking about the book, says, “This book is a timely remedy for the horrible order prevailing in our day, as it brilliantly interweaves the love story of Ruth and Boaz with the powerful testimony of my son, Austin J. Ukporhe. The message in this book is very clear: no mess is too big for God to clean up, and the believer can have the most fulfilling marriage, no matter how atrocious his or her past may have been. This work is a rich resource for both singles and marrieds. I personally commend the author for a job well done and recommend this work to the body of Christ and the entire world.”
In their review, Rev. Ohis and Anwinli Ojeikere state, “As a couple who have counseled many in relationships and marriage, we understand the need for amplified godly wisdom in this age. The Field of Boaz is a breath of fresh air, offering answers to the many questions that plague young singles on their journey to wholeness and readiness for marriage. This book is a must-read.”
Rev. and Rev. Mrs. Felix Meduoye, former General Overseer of Foursquare Gospel Church, Nigeria, in their review, share that, “As a pastor and spiritual father to many, I am pleased to introduce this book by my son, Pastor Ukporhe Austin, who delves into the rich fields of Boaz and Ruth, harvesting the seeds of wisdom planted in their remarkable love story. Through the pages of this book, let the legacy of Boaz and Ruth, as well as Pastor Austin’s life experiences, guide you to fields where love blossoms and relationships thrive under the watchful eye of our providential gardener Jesus Christ.”
Prophet Ayo Jeje adds, “The book is a masterpiece. The lessons on marriage presented in the book are profound and thought-provoking. Such insights could only come from a dedicated scholar like Rev. Austin Ukporhe.”
Apostle Gideon Odoma, president of Fortress Ministry, Jos, praises the book, saying, “It is a wonderful script. This work will enlighten many seekers and give wisdom to all who come across it. I highly recommend it.”
