
Nigeria’s Oluwole Bolatito suffered her first professional career defeat in New Zealand on Saturday as Zew Zealand’s Lami Daniel defended her IBF women’s light heavyweight world title.
The fight, which took place at the Claudelands Arena, saw both boxers battle on points throughout the scheduled ten rounds in a fierce contest that ended in a unanimous decision for Daniels as three judges scored the cards 100-90, 97-93, 98-92.

Lani Daniel continued her dominance in two divisions as she brought her boxing record to 9 wins in 10 fights with only 2 losses and one victory by knockout.
Bolatito Oluwole is ranked 5th in Boxrec, 6th in WBA and has his clean record affected by one loss in 10 fights.
Oluwole Bolatito takes the defeat in stride and vows to make a comeback while thanking Nigerians for their support as he wrote on his social media pages after his defeat:
