It culminated in the presentation of a proposed US$686,666.66 development budget for Fiscal Year 2025, aimed at supporting projects across key sectors, including healthcare, education, youth empowerment, sports, and district development initiatives.

Acting Superintendent Sam Baryougah Elliott Sr. formally submitted the draft budget, emphasizing that it was shaped by community consultations and aligned with grassroots priorities. County Council Chairperson Aaron Sickie Fenlah assured the public that the document will undergo thorough committee review before final approval.

In addition to budget discussions, the sitting featured institutional accountability reports from recipients of past county funds. Among them were the Liberia Opportunities Industrialization Center (LOIC), which reported on vocational training successes, and C.B. Dunbar Maternity Hospital, which showcased infrastructure and service improvements funded by previous allocations.

The Liberia National Police (LNP) presented a preliminary financial report through ACP Fasu Sheriff, detailing how US$2,000 was used for renovations and surveillance upgrades. Sheriff appealed for increased support in the upcoming budget.

The session concluded with robust stakeholder engagement, addressing concerns about fund management, project impact, and the need for improved coordination among implementers.
