Boniface explains the ‘main’ reason for Super Eagles’ struggles

The Super Eagles striker, Victor Boniface, has admitted that inappropriate preparation time is the main reason why Nigerians do not always see the best of the national team.

Boniface emphasized that limited training together affects its ability to build what is necessary
field connection.

“We have so many players, but sometimes we have limited time to train. It’s not like in the club where you work every day. For example, I could play Sunday, travel to Nigeria on Monday, get to the camp on Tuesday and then the game is Friday.

“With the stress of traveling and little time to train, it is difficult to prepare correctly,” Boniface explained.

Werder Bremen striker urged fans to continue supporting the team despite the challenges.

β€œWe are giving 100%. They all saw the Cup of Nations of Africa: the fight and the effort were there.

β€œPeople think that because we have good players, it will always be easy, but it is not.

“We don’t want to lose, but we do our best. The most important thing is that fans continue to believe in us, even when we have a bad game. We always want to do the
proud country. “
