Chapter State Borno from the Congress of All Progressive (APC) has given its weight behind the offer of the re -election of the Tinubu Bola President in 2027 and calls for the retention of Vice President Kashim Shettima as his partner.
The party made a call in the communication issued after a high -level stakeholder meeting was held on Sunday in the Multipurpose Hall of Government Buildings in Maiduguri.
The meeting united the main political figures from the state, including party elders, members of parliament, and high government officials.
Communike, which was distributed by the Senior Special Assistant for the Governor of the State Borno about information, Dogo Shettima, described the meeting as a re -affirmation of Borno’s commitment that was not shaken to the administration led by Tinubu and APC’s new hope agenda.
Present at the meeting was Deputy Chairman of the National APC (North) Ali Bukar Dalori, Head of the Senator Senator Mohammed Monguno, Senator Ali Ndume and Kaka Opponent, Member of the House of Representatives, former Senator Governor Maina Ma’aji Opponent, and State Commissioner, Regional Government Chair.

Apart from this new tension – especially the comments of Senator Ali Nduume, who accused President Tinubu of doing nepotism in the appointment of federal – stakeholders projecting a unity front, stated “Total loyalty and not undertaken” to the president and leadership.
“We, APC stakeholders in the state of Borno, reiterated our support for Ball President Ahmed Tinubu and prayed that he defended the Senator Kashim Shettima as his vice president for the second term of office,” said the Communike.
The meeting also praised Vice President Shettima for his dedication to national development and his role in strengthening the President’s vision. Participants praised the Governor of Babagana Zulum for his leadership in overcoming insecure and rebuilding Borno, urged him to maintain the steps of his development.
In a step to eliminate the rumors about political change, Communike emphasizes that Borno remains in harmony with APC. “Borno will remain in APC – there is no merger or changes in political parties,” he said.
