A British parliamentary conservative member, Patrick Spencer, was charged with two charges of sexual violence over the alleged incident in 2023.
The crown prosecution service (CPS) confirmed on Tuesday that parliament members, representing Central Suffolk and North IPSWich, will appear in the Westminster Magistrates court on May 19.
Metropolitan police said the 37 -year -old man, elected last July, was charged after a voluntary interview at the London police station on March 13.
Frank Ferguson, Head of the CPS Special Crime Division and Cons of Terrorism, said: “After the evidence provided by Metropolitan police services, we have approved the accusation for two charges of sexual violence.”

“CPS reminded all concerned that the criminal process against the defendant is now active and that he has the right to a fair trial.
“It is very important that there should be no reporting, comments or sharing online information that in any way can harm this process,” added the prosecution.
