British Woman Thrash Dutch to maintain the hope of Euro alive | English news

British women have convincingly defeating the Dutch to keep their euro hopes alive.

Sarina Wiegman’s team came to the tournament as defending champions, but declined to defeat against France in their opening match.

In the second match against the Netherlands, they led in a tie that had to be won, running out of the final winner.

Lauren James, who had just returned from injury, starred in a 4-0 victory, scored two goals before being replaced in the second half.

Georgia Stanway and Ella Toone also contributed to the destination, with Prince William who was present at the Letzigrund Stadium.

The show is very much needed, because the loss will leave their campaign on the edge of the knife, relying on results elsewhere.

England will play Wales in their third and last group match on Sunday, July 13.

Speaking to the BBC after the match, James said: “I really enjoyed it, the goal said everything.

“We rose again from the previous game and showed that we were more than capable [of] Show the world what we can do. “

Stanway’s goal scorer said: “I always say, and say one day, this is about showing who we are. We fought from the first minute to the last.”

Wiegman, who also led his Dutch originally to Euro Glory, also spoke with the announcer, praising his team’s response after losing against France.
