Former president Muhammadu Buhari, who went to London around 4.30 pm on Sunday, will be buried in Daura, in the state of Katsina, on Monday in accordance with Islamic rites.
The media assistant of the former president, Garba Shehu, revealed it on Sunday.
Previously he had announced Buhari’s death in a concise declaration on Sunday, confirming that the former Nigerian leader died at 4:30 pm in London in a disease.
The presidency had formally announced to the nation the disappearance of the immediate past president.
The president Bola Tinubu subsequently directed the vice -president Kashim Shettimo and the head of the staff Femi Gbajabiamilato to proceed with the United Kingdom to accompany the body of Buhari to Nigeria.
