Carbone Dangote, Host Communities Seal Development Pact.


The communities of Dangote Coal Mines Limited and guests in Benue’s state have sealed a community development agreement (Board of Directors).

The board was described by government officials as one of the main “goals”.

The pact, according to representatives of the coal of damage and of the host communities, would see the company that performing social programs in support of the government’s efforts.

The representative of the company, Nuhu Elujah, described the agreement as a “turn in our effort to touch life”, further explaining that “today we have a document to guide us as regards the abache community”.

He said the communities would see the company implement projects in education, roads, health and water infrastructures.

“It is a new era for peace and development. It is also an important milestone, “said the representative of the Minister of Development of Solid Minerals, Bimbo Adams.

Mrs. Adijetu Usman represented the Federal Ministry at state level.

Ward Head of Ugbokolo, Capo Emmanuel Ikom, has applauded Dangote Coal Mines Limited for the implementation of various projects in all three host communities in the area of ​​the local government of Okpokwu (LGA) of the State of Benue and urged the company not to give up.

In his observations, a representative of the Abache Community, Mr. Sunday Oonoko Aluh, appreciated the company’s efforts to make the signature of the board a reality, while it promises that its community will coexist peacefully with the management of the company to facilitate the rapid development of the area.

Traditional leaders to the event praised Coal Dangote for its numerous social interventions and programs.
