CBEX: Stranger declared Wanted – Blueprint Newspapers Limited

A foreign citizen named Elie Bitar was declared sought after by the Commission for economic and financial crimes (EFCC) for an alleged involvement in a cryptocurrency fraud linked to the online trading platform (CBEX).

This was contained in an official bulletin issued by EFCC on Wednesday.

Bitar is accused of having framed more unaware investors throughout Nigeria through Cbex.

“The public is notified with the present that Elie Bitar, whose photography appears above, is sought by the Commission for economic and financial crimes (EFCC) for fraud presumably perpetrated on an online trading platform called Crypto Bridge Exchange (CBEX)”, reads the bulletin.

He added that Bitar’s latest position was at Eng. George Enemoh Crescent, Lekki Phase 1, Lekki, Lagos State.

The members of the public with useful information regarding where Bitar is found were invited by the Commission to contact any of his zonal offices in Ibadan, Uyo, Sokoto, Maiduguri, Benin, Makurdi, Kaduna, Ilorin, Enugu, Kano, Lagos, Gombe, Port Harcourt or Abuja.
