On April 26, Facebook page distributed A video with the description “Governor of SIM Fubara supporters invaded the House of Nysome Wike”.
In a 12 -second clip, some men wear clothes and others in uniforms involved in weapons duels. The voice said, “See how they evacuate VIP. They encourage them all on the VIP.”
Ripples Nigeria has reported in March that the President of the Tinubu Bola declared an emergency in the state of Rivers in the midst of the struggle for power between the Governor of Fubara and his predecessor, Wike, Minister of FCT.
This video has collected more than 50 engagements, with nine shares to other pages and groups. Some comments question the truth of the video, which has been seen by more than 10K Facebook users.
See more information page revealed that it has 500 thousand followers. This page was created in 2023; It has three handles: two in Nigeria and one in the United States.
Verification
Ripples Nigeria reported that there was a protest against the emergency declaration in the state. Recently, women invaded the road to demand recovery of Fubara.
However, there was no report on the shootout between Fubara and Wike supporters in the state.

Efforts to check video sources using verification tools do not produce results.
