Chelle announces the Eagles squad for Iran and Jordan’s friendly match

Super Eagles head coach Éric Chelle has named a 23-man squad for the upcoming international friendlies against Iran and Jordan.

The squad includes captain Wilfred Ndidi, along with Alex Iwobi and Ademola Lookman.

Also selected were goalkeeper Maduka Okoye, defender Oluwasemilogo Ajayi, midfielder Frank Onyeka, and strikers Moses Simon, Samuel Chukwueze, Akor Adams, and Paul Onuachu.

Three players received their first call-ups: defender Emmanuel Oluwasegun Fernandez, forward Philip Otele, and Collins Yira Sor, a former junior international.

Nigeria will face Iran in Antalya, Türkiye on Friday, March 27, before facing Jordan on Tuesday, March 31.

Both matches were originally scheduled to be played in Amman but were moved due to the outbreak of military conflict in the Middle East.
