Chelsea defeated Tottenham to return to the top four

Chelsea won a 1-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur at Stamford Bridge on Thursday night, to return to the top four of the Premier League.

Enzo Fernandez headed for Cole Palmer’s cross at the beginning of the second half, before both teams set aside the goal after the VAR intervention.

Spurs cannot find lower because blues survive to seal victory. The defeat for Spurs has piled up more pressure on the head coach of Ange postecoglou.

Tottenham without a win in four matches, and sits in the 14th place in the league. But Chelsea jumped two places above Newcastle and Manchester City to the fourth place.

The Chelsea increase has now dropped the championship of Manchester City in power to fifth and Newcastle.
