Chidera Ejke shoots Seville to victory over the true society

Chidera Ejke scored her first beginning of the league in 140 days with a decisive goal when Seville won a 1-0 victory in the Royal Society at Reale Arena on Sunday.

The Nigerian end, which has fought for minutes since he returned from an injury in January, finally received the approval of the chief coach García Pimienta, replacing Ruben Vargas in the initial alignment. And he put his faith in style.

After a first cautious half with any of the parties capable of breaking the dead point, Seville capitalized a period of concentration of society immediately after the restart.

Ejke received the ball at the edge of the box and, with a quick touch to prepare, curled up an amazing effort beyond the Unaai Marrero in the 46th minute to put Seville ahead.

The goal was the second of the Ejke League season and its third goal contribution in 17 appearances in the League, since it also recorded an assistance.

Despite the attempts to set up a return, they fought to create clear opportunities against the resolution of the defense of Seville.

Ejke continued to be an animated presence before being replaced in the last 20 minutes, with Juanlu Sánchez watching to help see the victory.

Ejke’s return to the form is a significant impulse after a campaign full of injuries.

The Nigerian international suffered an injury in the hamstrings in the 5-1 defeat of Seville against Barcelona last October, which left him aside for nine league games.

Before the reverse, it had been established as an important part of the pepper team, once scoring in its first nine appearances.

His last performance will undoubtedly strengthen his case for more beginnings such as the battle of Seville to climb the league table.
