Chief of NNL, Aluo thumbged the strong start of clubs recently promoted in the 2025/2026 NPFL season

The president of the Nigeria National League (NNL), George Aluo, has praised the impressive performances of the four clubs recently promoted in the opening accessories of the 2025/2026 Nigeria Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).

Speaking, Aluo emphasized that the results reflect the strength and competitiveness of the NNL.

“It is a wonderful performance of the four teams that obtained promotion at the end of last season,” Aluo said. “Warri Wolves defeated Katsina United Away, Wikki tourists defeated Plateau United, Kun Khalifat carried out Rangers International for a raffle without goals, and Barau FC also attracted 0-0 with Enyimba in Kano. It was a good way to start.”

He advised the newly promoted parties to keep the focus as the long season of 38 games develops.

In other results of the game day:
• The oar stars played a 1-1 draw with United Rivers.
