Chukwueze enjoying life under Allegri: he is no longer a candidate for sale

AC Milan is happy with the end of Super Eagles Samuel Chukwueze. The player was a candidate for sale at the beginning of the transfer window, since Massimiliano Allegri did not consider him part of his project.

But after a series of beautiful performances, the club is now in favor of Chukwueze’s accommodation.

The Nigerian scored in the 9-0 victory against Perth Glory in the last pre-season friend of AC Milan.

Chukwueze praised Allegri after victory. He told Milantv:

“Allegri is a great coach: everyone knows. He has won a lot throughout his career, and now that he is here, he will aim to win trophies with Milan too. It is excellent for working with the players; he understands what they want and what he needs of them, both in terms of defense and attack.”

“Everyone is happy and working hard, and there is a fantastic atmosphere in the locker room. Some teammates even dance, and I am one of them,” he said with a smile. “Having fun makes everything easier.”

The 25 -year -old and Allegri are beginning to have a great relationship. With his increasingly strong link, Chukwueze is likely to play a key role in the Italian project.

Playing weekly will help Chukwueze’s aptitude and confidence, as it is expected to play an important role in the Nigeria World Cup qualifiers in September and in the African Cup of Nations in December.

The first competitive game of the AC Milan season will be in the first round of Coppa Italy, where they will face Bari on August 17, while their league campaign begins six days later.
