Comedian US Reggie Carroll died after the shooting incident

The death of the unexpected comedian stand-up Reggie Carroll, who was shot on Saturday night in the United States, has left the American entertainment industry in mourning.

Unfortunately, Carroll was trapped in the shooting incident outside the place where he performed before at night, according to the first account from the local authority.

Apart from an attempt to make comedians aware, emergency personnel confirmed that he was declared dead at the location.

Following a report on the shooting incident, the Southhaven Police Department said the officers had identified a male victim who suffered a gunshot wound.

“We can confirm that on Wednesday, August 2025, the Southaven Police Department responded to the Burton Lane region in connection with the shooting.

“Southaven officers found a male victim who suffered a gunshot wound.

“The officers and medical personnel provide live-saving techniques, but the individual surrendered to his wounds. The victim has been identified as Reginald Carroll (Maryland) who is 52 years old,” police said in a post on social media.

The police paid respect to the relatives of the deceased after confirming that an unknown suspect was detained and had been charged with the killing of the comedian.
