Commander Ndlea was found dead at Cross River’s Hotel

A Commander of the Narcotics Law Enforcement Agency (Ndlea) at Cross River State, Morrison Ogbonna, on Thursday morning was found dead in a hotel in Calabar.

The commander was found dead by his officers, who came to pick him up for the scheduled task.

A source confirmed the incident to journalists in the state capital.

“This is what happened this morning. Some officers were in the hotel where he slept to pick him up, but when they did not hear from him, they went to his room.

“It knocked without the results they attracted the attention of hotel management, who opened his room and found it dead,” he said.

According to him, the commander was moved to Cross River to replace Rachel Umebual in August.

Spokesman for the State Police Command, Irene Ugbo-Obase, also confirmed the incident.

He said: “I can confirm to you that it’s true, but what causes death is what I can’t say to you.”
