Former President of the Musicians Association of Nigeria (PMAN), Charles Oputa alias Charly Boy has reacted to the seizure of a Nigerian jet in France.
Recall that a French court reportedly seized three Nigerian presidential jets, including a newly acquired Airbus, as part of an ongoing legal dispute.
The seizure, which included a newly purchased Airbus A330 linked to the Nigerian government and worth more than $100 million, came after a protracted legal dispute between a Chinese business called Zhongshan Fucheng Industrial Investment Co. Ltd. and the sub-national state.

Reacting to the seizure, Charly Boy cast doubt on the legitimacy and transparency of the Nigerian government, stating that the presence of the aircraft in France raised serious issues regarding the moral character of the government.
He wrote, βThe seizure of three Nigerian presidential jets in France has caused significant confusion and embarrassment due to the legal dispute involving the Ogun State government and Chinese company Zhongshan Fucheng Industrial Investment Co. Ltd.β
βDo you know what 3 Nigerian government jets are doing in France? Is it Tinubuβs second home? Can an illegitimate and illegal government come clean? Why are so many Nigerian criminals being deported from the US in APCs?β Charly Boy added.
