In a strategic movement to raise health services at the Federal Medical Center (FMC) Abeokuta, Day IsraelThe national youth leader of the Congress of all progressives (APC), met with Dr. Iziaq Kunle Salako, the honorable Minister of State for Health and Social Welfare.

During the meeting, Israel presented its appointment letter and shared its vision for FMC Abeokuta, which is located in the state of Ogun, the native state of the minister.
He described his commitment to support management in the delivery of high quality clinical and health services, ensuring that the hospital competes with the main private and international institutions.
βOur center has achieved significant milestones, including successful open heart surgeries and numerous medical advances. My goal is to transform FMC Abeokuta into a world -class institution that can rival private and foreigners hospitals in the provision of attention, βsaid Israel Dayo Israel.
The meeting also provided an opportunity for Israel to get involved with the Secretary of Permanent Health and the President of the Health Services Committee of the House of Representatives.
The discussions focused on strategies to improve the provision of medical care, improve infrastructure and strengthen the ability of medical personnel in FMC Abeokuta.
Dr. Salako, a key figure in the Nigeria health sector, has actively participated in initiatives to improve medical services, particularly in the state of Ogun. Recently, he directed a medical care program that provides free medical checks, medications and advice to more than 1,000 residents, reinforcing their commitment to quality medical care.
Israel’s commitment to the minister and other senior officials indicates a collaboration effort to reposition FMC Abeokuta as a main health institution, establishing new reference points in the Public Health sector of Nigeria.
