Belgium bounced back from defeat in their Euro 2024 opener to secure a 2-0 win over Romania, with Kevin de Bruyne inspiring the win.
Belgium were shocked by Slovakia in their first match in Group E, but managed to overcome the pressure to secure a big win over Romania as the battle for knockout qualification continues.
Romelu Lukaku saw his third Euro 2024 goal disallowed by the Video Assistant Referee. The Belgian had two goals disallowed in the previous match.
This result puts the group on edge as all four teams have three points.

Earlier in the day, Cristiano Ronaldo provided an assist to help Portugal beat Türkiye 3-0 in Group F.
Bernardo Silva opened the scoring midway through the first half before a big mistake by defender Samet Akaydin led to Turkey’s disastrous own goal.
Ronaldo then provided an assist as Bruno Fernandes sealed the win in the 55th minute to send Portugal into the last 16 of the competition.
In another Euro match on Saturday between the other teams in Group F, Georgia and the Czech Republic shared the points with a score of 1-1.
