The former Nigeria U17 coach, Ovie Ejaria, has joined the newly promoted Laliga Real Oviedo in an agreement two years after a successful trial period that lasted weeks, reports Owngoalnigeria.com.
Ejaria has been without a club for two years since he left the reading of the English championship, not thanks to a series of injury and physical conditioning problems that were also followed by indiscipline accusations.
He had tests in Plymouth last season, but an agreement was not delivered. In August last year, he was also in Egypt, where he trained with the Top Zamalek League team in his attempt to make an agreement, but was not successful.
A midfielder who is blessed with the ability to use the ball very well, made enough to convince coach Veljko Paunovic to give Oviedo a deal, and will wait for the measure to help again to direct his career. The coach was the one who gave him his great advance in the Reading race when he was at the helm from 2020 to 2022.
The 27 -year -old trained with the Nigeria U17 team of 2013, while he was in the Arsenal’s books. It has past experience with the youth teams of Liverpool, Sunderland, Rangers and Reading.
