Deal done: Coventry City complete signing of Super Eagles star

Newly promoted Coventry City to the English Premier League will activate the option to sign Nigerian international midfielder Frank Onyeka on a permanent deal, OwnGoalNigeria.com can exclusively report.

Onyeka joined the team on loan from Brentford and played a key role in helping them seal promotion to the English Premier League.

The 28-year-old was signed to bring experience to the team at a time when it looked like they were starting to lose ground.

He immediately lifted their spirits in the 11 games he played and, following his promotion, will now receive a new four-year contract.

Manager Frank Lampard has already given his approval to the deal, and personal terms are not expected to be a problem.
