Death of Aminu Big Losses for Nigeria – Tinubu

Tinubu Ball President has expressed sadness over the death of a former petroleum minister, Prof. Jibril Aminu.

Aminu, a medical doctor, died on Thursday after a prolonged disease at the age of 85 years.

In a statement issued by a special advisor about information and strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President described the death of the older statesman as “a big loss for the nation.”

“Prof. Aminu symbolizes femininity and is committed to building a larger Nigeria. As we are grieving, we must find comfort in his inheritance. He left an extraordinary trail in the sand of time,” said Tinubu.

The President also sympathized with the government and the people of Adamawa’s state of loss and prayed that “God forgives the sins of amen and gives him eternal rest at Aljana Firdaus.”
