Debut hero! Iheanacho hits the Celtic Dramatic Victoria late

Kelechi Iheanacho enjoyed a beginning of sleep in his Celtic career while in the detention time to give the Scottish champions a 2-1 victory over Kilmarnock in Rugby Park on Sunday.

Nigeria’s international, who joined Brendan Rodgers this summer, left the bank in the 70th minute and proved to be the winner of the game with practically the last kick of the game.

Celtic had a strong beginning and dominated possession in the opening stages, reaching the beginning.

His pressure was rewarded at the beginning of the second half when Daizen Maeda broke the point.

However, Kilmarnock became the contest and returned to the level terms in the 83rd minute when David Watson dismissed home, sending household support to ecstasy.

The game seemed ready to finish the entire square until the late drama was developed. After a VAR review, referee John Beaton pointed the place for a handball inside the box.

Iheanacho, who did not show nerves in his debut, took a step forward and broke his leftist effort on the network to secure the three points for Rodgers’ men.

Speaking after the game, the 28 -year -old was delighted to mark his debut with such an important goal.

“I am very happy. It was the last kick of the game and I have to take it, so it is a great feeling,” he told Celtic TV.

“There was a lot of pressure, but I kept compound. The three points are huge and we hope there are many more to come.”

The result maintains the undefeated beginning of Celtic in the Premier League Scottish campaign and offers Rodgers a valuable impulse as the champions continue their defense of the title.
