Veteran Nollywood actor Jide Kososko has defended his decision to vote for Bola Tinubu as Nigerian President, stressing that no one should be bullied for their political choices.
The actor, who made the remarks in an interview on the latest episode of Curiosity Made Me Ask hosted by Isbae U, also added that people should be allowed to choose who they want to choose.
When asked whether anyone should be intimidated for their voting choice, Kosoko replied emphatically, “No one should be intimidated into voting for anyone, and people should be free to vote for whoever they want.”
“The people who voted for Tinubu, do you think they should be harassed?” Isbae U asked further.

“That’s their own business, their own taste; I’m entitled to my own opinion. I love the man I chose and I know he’s fine. If only you knew how to fix things, then you would fully understand that he’s fine,” the actor replied.
When asked why he voted for Tinubu in the general election, Kosoko stressed Tinubu’s importance in shaping Nigeria’s democracy and identified him as a key figure in Nigeria’s progress over the years.
Kosoko said, “I voted for him because I have known him for a long time, and Agbada has nothing to do with it. I know him and I have seen his many contributions to nation building. We cannot even talk about the democracy we all enjoy today without mentioning Tinubu among those who fought for us to have it.”
