Director of FCTA, accomplice arrested for alleged fraud on earth


The police arrested Joseph Eriki, director of the investigation and pursuit of the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) for alleged fraud on Earth.

Eriki was arrested together with Boniface Agwu and AR in custody until their arrangement for criminal conspiracy, criminal transgression and falsification.

Other suspicions are said to be free.

Eriki and Agwu have been accused alongside Ikechukwu Kanu; Donatec Electrical Company Limited; Super limited structure; Meteorological engineering; Marine Service Limited; Asher Information Services Limited; Prince Isaac Omoluwa; Nwaimoneye Augustine Onyisi and Sarajo Aliyu, Ogbole Michael.

It was assumed that they had illegally inserted the plot 461-470 and 486-496 belonging to Etha Ventures and published structures with the intention of transfers etha Ventures.

According to the accusation, to update their intent, the defendants fraudulently obtained a judgment of consent in the number of Causa/hc/cv/240/2018 causes, given the title of plot 1406 (461-470 and 486-496) Sabon Lugbe East Layout, Abuja A Super Structures Limited.

The judge Suleiman Belgore of a High Court of the FCT that Garki had issued a bench mandate for the arrest of the defendants so that they could appear in court for their arrangement on charges of 9 counts of allegedly grabbing the earth.

The accusation consultant, David Kaswe, had told the Court that the defendants were on administrative deposit.

He added and had been duly informed of the accusations against them and that all the efforts to bring them to court had been abortive.

On June 4, the defender, CS EKEOCHA and EE APEH, promised to produce his customers for the arrangement.

Judge Belgore reiterated his previous order for the arrest of the defendants, despite the promises by some consultants.
