Super Eagles defender, Semi Ajayi has called on the fans not give up on the team in their quest for a fourth AFCON title.

The Super Eagles had come under scrutiny for their profligacy in front of goal in the 1-1 draw against Equatorial Guinea.

 

 

However, speaking with BRL, Ajayi pleaded with the fans to keep faith with the team and promised not to give up in their quest to turn their campaign around.

“I would just say stay with us, don’t give up, because we certainly will be fighting all the way to the end, we’ll give everything we have.

“We’re extremely motivated, extremely hungry to succeed, we’ll be giving our absolute everything, and we just ask for your prayers and support,” Ajayi said.
