Drake intensified legal action against Universal Music Group

Canadian-American Rapper Drake has advanced to intensify legal action against Universal Music Group on the controversial song Kendrick Lamar entitled ‘Not Like Us.’

The talented rapper said that his public image had been badly damaged by the Lamar Grammy Award victory and the new Super Bowl’s first -round performance.

Although the specifics of the lawsuit are still in the package, people in indicating the Drake legal team are pursuing damage and may try to prevent the song from being distributed on streaming services in the future.

According to a source close to this case, the Canadian rapper claims the song contains illegal samples and that UMG may have ignored or allowed releases despite knowing there might be legal problems.

Since it was released, the song has received millions of streams and triggered new discussions about the boundaries of hip-hop beef. This is generally considered a direct attack on Drake in the middle of the ongoing two rap verbal quarrels.

In January, Drake accused UMG of defaming it by promoting the single Kendrick Lamar, which contained very offensive words.

Drake must be included in the local viewing list, according to the lyrics of Kendrick Lamar, which calls it “Certified Pedophile” and “Predator.”
